Bachelor of Ministry

Program Overview

The practical route to ministry, and a distinct award from the Bachelor of Divinity. The B.Min. is built for those already serving: supervised placement runs throughout, and the emphasis falls on preaching, pastoral care, discipleship, church administration and mission rather than on the biblical languages.

Course Structure

3 years · 6 semesters · 34 courses

  • MIN 101Introduction to Christian Ministry5 ECTS

    Introduces the nature, purpose and practice of Christian ministry. Students examine ministry as calling, service, stewardship and leadership.

  • BIB 101Old Testament Survey5 ECTS

    A comprehensive introduction to the books, historical development, major themes, theology and ministry significance of the Old Testament.

  • BIB 102New Testament Survey5 ECTS

    Study of the Gospels, Acts, Pauline writings, General Epistles and Revelation.

  • THE 101Introduction to Christian Doctrine5 ECTS

    Introduction to foundational Christian doctrines including Yahuah, humanity, sin, Yahusha the Messiah, salvation, the Ruach HaQodesh, the Church and final things.

  • SFM 101Spiritual Formation and Christian Character5 ECTS

    Develops spiritual disciplines and Christian character through prayer, Scripture, worship, fasting, service, accountability and reflection.

  • COM 101Communication for Ministry5 ECTS

    Develops written, oral, interpersonal and public communication skills for Christian ministry.

    Study of the person, teaching, ministry, death, resurrection and mission of Yahusha.

    Practical development of prayer, worship, fasting, meditation, spiritual disciplines and corporate spiritual life.

    From the early Church through the Reformation.
