Across Africa and far beyond it, there are men and women with the calling and the capacity for higher study who have never been given the door. We were founded to open that door.

Part I

Why ICOF

The International Circle of Faith (ICOF) represents a contemporary movement committed to reviving and perpetuating the original apostolic message, authority, power, and anointing. With a global reach, ICOF unites ministers and ministries worldwide under a common vision of unity, prioritizing collaboration over division. Emerging from the core principles of ICOF, ICOF Global University endeavors to provide accredited education and training. Since its inception in 2007, our institution has been dedicated to nurturing professionals across various domains, championing excellence in education and service to humanity.

A global community

Students and faculty from around the world engage in collaborative learning and cross-cultural exchange. Wherever you study with us, you are a full member of this university.

A faculty who have practised what they teach

Our professors, doctors and senior practitioners have worked in the fields they examine. You receive a personal reply from the member of faculty teaching the course, not from a teaching assistant.

Accredited since 2007

Continuously accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education of Cameroon, and part of the International Circle of Faith.

Built for working adults

Full-time, part-time, online and distance routes, so a working professional, a minister in post or a parent can study without stopping everything else.

Certificate through to doctorate

A clear ladder in every faculty that offers one, so the first award you take is a step toward the next rather than a dead end.

Diversity, by conviction

Students from all backgrounds, cultures and walks of life are welcomed. Every individual is valued and respected.

The Yeshiva style of learning

ICOF Global University incorporates elements of the Jewish Yeshiva style of learning. Rooted in centuries of tradition, this method emphasises interactive dialogue, critical thinking and deep engagement with textual sources.

Through this immersive learning experience, students gain a deeper understanding of their subjects and develop the skills needed for lifelong learning and personal growth.

Campuses and Online Learning

The university teaches from Buea and Douala in Cameroon, from its resource centre in Nigeria, and online to students on every continent.

Distance and online students study the same curriculum, sit the same assessments and receive the same award as students on campus. Course materials, assignments, examinations and transcripts are handled through the student portal.

Master’s students attend two seminars a year, each of five days at the campus; doctoral students attend four one-week seminars a year. These are the points at which distance study becomes residential.

Student Life

Theology students also take part in chapel services, prayer retreats, community outreach, mission internships, leadership conferences, student theological societies and research seminars.

Part VI

International Students

ICOF Global University belongs to the worldwide fellowship of the International Circle of Faith, with sister colleges, seminaries and ministries across Africa, the Americas, Europe and Asia. Students join us from many nations — on campus in Buea and Douala, through our center in Nigeria, and online from anywhere in the world.

Master’s and doctoral programs are offered fully online: live classes, course materials, assessments and supervision are delivered through the student portal, and your transcript builds automatically as you study. Graduation ceremonies in Buea welcome international graduates and their families every January.

Buea, in the foothills of Mount Cameroon, is one of Central Africa’s university towns — anglophone, welcoming and affordable. Single-room student accommodation with kitchen and facilities costs roughly USD 60 to 85 per month, paid locally in FCFA, and the campus sits opposite Bulu Blind Junction with easy access to the town.

Every degree level requires proof of English language proficiency. Applicants holding qualifications from outside Cameroon are assessed against the comparable Cameroonian qualification.

Fees and Scholarships

At ICOF Global University, we realize each student is unique and that includes their financial situation. We offer flexible methods to cover your tuition costs. Going to college is a big step, but you don’t have to go it alone — earning a degree shouldn’t break the bank.

Full-time tuition (per year)$12,200 (living at home or on campus) · $12,000 (students with dependents)
Part-time tuition (per year)$6,600 · $6,400 (students with dependents)
Books & supplies$500
Student housing (single room, toilet & kitchen)USD 60 – 85 per month
Application feeUSD 100, payable with the application
Extension coursesVaries by program — email admissions@iguc.net

ICOF operates two fee bands. Students from Africa and the Global South pay a subsidised rate, funded as scholarship — the university carries the difference so that cost is not what keeps a called student out of higher education. Students from Europe and North America pay a higher rate, set at approximately European levels and slightly below them; those fees help fund the scholarship band. Which band applies is determined by nationality and residence, not by mode of study.

We provide financial aid through scholarships — follow our announcements and newsletters to know when a scholarship program is published. Every programme is available on campus in Buea and Douala, online, or as a combination of the two.

Fees payable in addition to tuition, the terms of payment and the refund schedule are set out in the Academic Regulations. The pass mark is 65% and grades run from A at 94–100% downward.
